The illustration was part of the gallery show which coincided with the premiere of the new season of "Naked Attraction" in Poland. The artworks created by a number of illustrators were auctioned after the show and all the proceeds from the sale went to DiversityPL, a foundation which supports diversity, equity, and inclusion.
When I was invited to participate in an exhibition, I thought of a survey that showed that one in four people is dissatisfied with their private parts. I came up with the idea of creating a piece that would juxtapose this study, provoking people to think of private parts in terms of beauty. I went for a rose, which is a symbol of beauty – the rose, which looks like an ordinary rose from afar, but upon closer inspection, it appears to be more than that.
